Prophet's Work Goes On

Dan Sola

Badlands SD     Pikas, (Ochotona Minor) those cheerful, mischievous friends of climbers and campers, are functioning as a cult-like organization beneath the boulder fields of Colorado.

It has been reported that when Elizabeth Clare Prophet (former head of Church Universal and Triumphant) slipped into the abyss of Alzheimer's disease she shifted from human seeker and prophet to rodent guru. Seeking relief from the plaque build up clouding her own brain, She now telepathically ranges beneath the boulders in an interconnected subterranean network of passages high in the Rockies. Now Pikas aren't all that intelligent on their own. Sort of a 1 bit processor running at 54Mbs: Collect, collect, collect, chew, run, hide, collect, etc. So, in an analogue to the parallel processing used in the SETI project, whereby hundreds of small computers are used to solve a huge problem in small pieces, Elizabeth Clare Prophet has devised a telepathy system to similarly link and harness the rodent brains. The boulder fields of the mountain west are now virtually humming with the combined brain power of thousands of Pikas thinking the thoughts of Elizabeth Claire Prophet. Sensitive individuals, those with slight or under-developed psychic powers, have reported hearing this hum in remote areas.

The "technology" was first deployed in the 1980's by ECP at a Prairie Dog town just outside of Yellowstone. But it turns out the NSA was using the prairie dogs in an experiment to intercept long range submarine communications. They mutually agreed to keep their respective work a secret. When Alzheimer's was diagnosed, she recalled these early experiments and saw a ray of hope in the Ochotona Minor, known for it's singleness of purpose and relatively significant aura. In addition, they do not hibernate making them mentally available year-round. Until then, no one had ever considered the humble Pika significant in the sentience movement. But now these creatures are preserving and continuing the vision of Elizabeth Clare Prophet for future generations. Her brain may be slipping away -- but her dreams keep dreaming.
